Everest Fleet is Uber’s largest professionally managed fleet supplier in India, with a fleet of 18,000+ cars, operating in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. It was founded by a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist and seasoned angel investor Siddharth Ladsariya in October 2016.
As we are one of the most professionally managed fleets of the country, Uber India has entered into a strategic partnership with us. Our goals are to reach 35000 cars by the end of 2025. With an aim to generate 1 lakh jobs and create an ecosystem benefiting the entire value chain – drivers, aggregators, investors & employees, Everest Fleet envisions becoming the preferred operating partner in the industry over the next 5 years. Current team size is of 2200+ employees and 18,000+ drivers. We are in the process of building a core team which will be responsible for the organisation’s growth.
Job Description
The City Lead will be responsible for
- Managing the entire Fleet Operations towards achieving projected volume and P&L numbers (Target/UOM 90% achievement) for the designated City/Region.
- Building an efficient core team at the city/region level to achieve predetermined Targets
- Maximizing the utilization of vehicles, with minimal number of cars under downtime.
- Managing Drivers and Vehicles: Allocation, shift management. Practically ensuring a driver is provided with a car and vice versa.
- Managing the Business Analytics team to analyze business metrics to arrive at insights to identify and utilize business opportunities.
- Chasing weekly and monthly targets per vehicle and ensuring the targets are achieved
- Recruiting, Motivating & monitoring driver partners to achieve revenue target and ensure minimal attrition
- Ensure collections and operational business matrices for the drivers are met
- Responsibility for driver attrition by conceptualizing and executing various schemes for the driver partners
- Addressing driver partner grievances and handling all escalations from the core team responsible for driver partner engagement
- Managing and maximizing driver partner performance through L&D and creating Incentives and pay-out structures to drive performance amongst drivers
- Monitoring the Repairs and Maintenance Function to ensure minimum cars are in down time, the TAT for repairing is lowest and the cost is under control.
- To be the SPOC for Uber from Everest Fleet.
We are looking for a person who has
- Keen Interest in the Transport Industry.
- Experience of managing a city, state or a large area in any contemporary organization preferably Retail organization.
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed with a strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurship.
- Excellent people management & interpersonal skills
- Good multitasking and analytical skills.
- Ability to operate in a team-oriented, collaborative & demanding environment.
