Achievements : Pankaj, 39 years old business aspirant from a small village called Jagdishpur(Pure Chanda) at Prayagraj the land of Saints, Sages & God’s in UP, currently staying at Room No A-13, at Akansha Cooperative Society, Gaikwad Nagar, Malad (West) , Mumbai with his parents, wife & two children. He spent his childhood in poverty but had a dream to live a wealthy life. He completed his 12th from Firoj Gandhi Intermediate College Garapur, Prayagraj & ITI from Bhusawal MP. He worked as sales attendant with Kailash Chandra Harish Chandra an established wholesale clothes vendor of Prayagaraj from 1997 to 1999 on a remuneration of Rs 550/ month but it was neither sufficing his nor his family basic needs. On 1st May 2001, he came to Mumbai, stayed at his maternal aunt’s (Buva Ji) place and worked at her dry fruit shop for four years. In 2005, He decided to start his carrier in corporate & got his 1st job as a salesman at ITC and worked for one year & another year with Kamla pasand but did not get any mental satisfaction. He thought to start his own business, quit the job and took franchisee of Agara Ka Petha (Noori Petha) for Mumbai and parallelly took a car in OLA leasing & use to drive after his business hours to make extra money. By doing this, he was making sizable money & was happy in his life. Due to lock down in March 2020, the sales of the Petha dropped to almost Zero and OLA also shut down its operation for some time.

There was hardly any earning from current business hence he decided to close his Petha business & returned the car of OLA. During this period, explored many small-scale businesses for almost one and half years, spent his all saving & ran out of money. He decided to drive in OLA/ Uber and started searching for the opportunity. He met his old friend Ravi Shahu who is an EiP with Everest & started working with him as a driver for six months. Learnt from past businesses & groomed with entrepreneurial thoughts, Pankaj, realized that he can make more money while helping other drivers. He met senior management & expressed his desire to run a fleet of approx. 10 cars, we identified his entrepreneurial, people management & soft skill and coached him according to our business requirement & shifted him from EiP’s pilot to an EiP (Everest intrapreneur Programme for Pilots) where he proved himself exceptionally well and currently running a fleet of approx. 35 cars happily & saving approx. 1.1 L per month.

Presently, he is happy and feels, his dreams of becoming a business owner is turning into reality now & says,”सर, एवेरेस्ट केवल गाड़ियों को चलवाने का काम नहीं करता बल्कि यहाँ लोगों के योग्यता की पहचान करके, उन्हें उनकी वास्तविक क्षमता का एहसास कराके, उनको उनकी काबिलियत की चरम सीमा तक पहुंचाने का काम करते है, मैं धन्य हूँ जो मुझे भगवान ने एवेरेस्ट के साथ काम करने का मौका दिया है “
